Fall Makeup

The leaves in my yard have started turning colors seemingly overnight, signaling the beginning of my favorite season – fall. I have started pulling out some of my fall decor, as well as some warmer clothing as the days get shorter and the mornings get cooler. Our homes and wardrobes often reflect the colors of the season, but does our makeup? I have found a few products I think are perfect for fall, so today I am sharing some fall makeup must-haves.

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil In Plum

Fall Makeup

Do you always stick to black or brown eyeliner? Add a pop of color with this creamy pencil in plum. I have been loving this on my lower waterline for a subtle addition of color that really makes my brown eyes pop. I love this formula because it glides on so smooth, but is also waterproof so it has great staying power.

Urban Decay Moondust Palette

Fall makeupJewel tones are in this season, and I love this Urban Decay Moondust Palette. UD shadows are nicely pigmented, but not so much so that you are going to look like you are joining a punk rock band. These would be great to add a pop of color to you fall eye. I like to apply a bold shade on my lid, then soften it by adding a warm brown in the crease and smudging a cooler, darker brown in the v. It makes some of these bolder colors very soft and wearable.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Fall MakeupIf your skin doesn’t look good, it doesn’t matter what you put on your eyes, because no one will notice. I have tried a LOT of different foundations from low end to high end to everything in between, and Revlon ColorStay remains my hands-down favorite. This foundation has amazing coverage without looking cake-y or heavy and does not make my skin freak out. This is perfect for those of us on this side of 30 who really don’t want our skin to look like an over-highlighted disco ball.

False Lashes

Fall Makeup

If you have some parties to go to this fall, it might be a great time to try a set of false lashes for some extra drama. Or, if you are like me, just wear them to the grocery store. It might surprise you that there are high end lashes, and drug store just like any other makeup. One of my favorite higher-end lashes (that is still affordable) are the House Of Lashes Siren lashes. These are soft, but still have enough density to bring the drama. These are great for every day or a night out.

Fall Makeup

On the more affordable/easier to find end are Ardell lashes. The demi wispies are my all-time favorite lash from them because they fit my eye shape perfectly! These are on the more “natural” end of false lashes. I almost always get complimented on my lashes when I wear these, and people are shocked when I tell them they are false lashes! This are great for beginners.

Also, get this Duo lash adhesive. It’s the best!

Do you change up your makeup look by season? I hope this gave you a few ideas for your fall makeup lineup!
