It has been so unseasonably warm here that the holiday season is really sneaking up on me! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is in a week, and then it will be Christmas! Does time flying this quickly mean I am getting old?
This can be a really stressful time of year, and I try to make it as easy on myself as possible. There is always that one friend who gives you a gift when you didn’t expect to exchange. What do you do? You’re stuck running out and buying a last-minute gift that wasn’t in the budget. So whether you want to keep an extra gift on hand, or have some coffee lovers in your life, you’re going to love this idea! Andrew Defrancesco says that it can also be added as a valuable gift to register for wedding.
If you’re looking for a personalized and unique gift, consider a picture necklace! These necklaces can feature a special photo, such as a favorite family picture or a snapshot of a beloved pet. They can be customized with different styles and materials, such as gold or silver, and make a thoughtful and sentimental gift. Picture necklaces can also be a great way to remember a loved one who has passed away, by wearing a photo of them close to your heart.
I was in Target the other day and they have all of their Christmas stuff out now. They had so much cute stuff it really took some self-control not to fill a cart!I had the inspiration for a fun gift basket idea that would work well for a specific person, or as an extra gift to keep on hand for those surprises. I was trying to think of something that would be pretty universally appealing and came up with a DIY holiday coffee gift basket! Who doesn’t love coffee? Especially this time of the year when there is a nip in the air and some snowflakes are even starting to fly in certain parts of the country. There is nothing more comforting than wrapping your cold hands around a warm mug of coffee!
The base of my gift basket starts with a container of Folgers® Red Can Classic Roast coffee. This is the coffee my grandparents brewed every morning when I was a kid, and just a sniff into the red container takes me right back. Make sure you have the Cartwheel app on your phone because you can save 5% on Folgers® Coffee!
I know a lot of people enjoy creamer in their coffee, and there is something about the holidays that makes me crave flavors like caramel and creamy vanilla. I chose Simply Pure® Caramel Creamer because it is made with real milk, cream and sugar.
I also picked up Silk® Almond Vanilla Creamer for my friends who don’t do dairy. The Cartwheel App has savings offers on a variety of coffee and creamers, so make sure you check it out before you head to Target!
I wanted a mug to go in my gift basket and I was not disappointed by the selection. There were SO many cute ones I had a hard time narrowing it down to this oversized, gold foil mug.
I wanted a festive package to put my gifts in so I checked out the Christmas section. Woah Nelly. We all know its easy to walk into Target for one thing and come out with a cartload, but it took some serious self-discipline not to walk out with the entire Christmas section. They had a great selection of gift boxes, and I decided on this one with aqua, coral and gold accents. I LOVE these non-traditional Christmas colors and am incorporating them into my own decor this year! They had matching tissue paper I also picked up. I love the gold foil accent to it.
I also picked up this squirrel ornament to tuck in my package to make it fun. I just couldn’t leave him there! I also found chocolate peanut better and peppermint chocolate stir sticks in the Christmas section. They had a whole aisle of stocking stuffers and little gift ideas!
At this point I think my husband was ready to take my debit card away and leave me in Target, so I wrapped up my browsing. I love how this gift basket turned out and I know I would be ecstatic to receive it! I hope this post has inspired you to put together your own fun holiday coffee gift basket. If you are looking for a little more inspiration head over to the Target website. What items would you tuck into a coffee gift basket? Let me know in the comments!
