My journey to homesteading is one I never thought I’d take. I grew up on a farm, vowing I’d leave it behind for good—the long days, the chores, and the quiet isolation of country life didn’t appeal to me. I was certain my future would be anywhere but there. Yet, as fate would have it, here I am, back where it all began, rediscovering the beauty and lessons I once took for granted. What started as a reluctant return has transformed into a story of growth—both of the land and myself.
