Hi, my name is Melissa and I have not bought a new pen for 7 0 days.
I might have a small pen addiction. I have always loved writing, and by extension, I love pens! Colorful, bright, smooth … mmm, I can smell the ink now.
I know I am not the only pen addict out there, so today I am going to share a few of my favorites.
These may seem a bit pedestrian to some, but I said I was a pen addict, not a pen snob. This is my go-to when I just need a regular pen, but want some fun colors. They write smoothly, and have a nice vibrancy.
They are a great price, too!
2. Sharpie Pens
I purchased these because I was tired of the ink from my gel pens smearing in my planner before it was dry. While I am not blown away by the vibrancy of the colors, I am blown away by how smooth a fine-tip marker can write. I use these a LOT for paperwork for business and homeschooling. A bit more professional than neon ink, but still a little fun. These are great for writing out recipe cards and things that you don’t want fading.
3. The Write Dudes Neon Gel Pens
These are hands-down my favorite pens. They write incredibly smooth, the colors are bright and neon – they are fun in pen form (you’ve already been warned that I am a nerd, so I don’t know why you are rolling your eyes). I use these on everything, but primarily my planner’s calendar pages. I have two gripes: 1. they take a moment to dry, so they smear easily and, 2. I had one pen get the gushy tip syndrome after a few months. Nonetheless, these are still my favorites.
So these are the pens in regular rotation right now, but I am always on the hunt for a new favorite. Any suggestions?
