A few weeks ago I posted about the Old Fashioned movie, and I mentioned a book and devotional. In typical fashion, it has taken me about two weeks longer than I intended to post about this, but today I am going to share the book and devotional with you.
The book is based off of the screenplay for the movie, and has the same title. Maybe you are one of those people who would rather read the book before you see the movie, or maybe you loved the movie so much you just want a little more. Then this book is for you, as it is the same storyline as the movie, but just a lot more detailed.
The devotional is called “The Old Fashioned Way” and was inspired by the values of the film. The devotional spans 40 days, and covers everything from chivalry to modesty. My favorite aspect of this devotional is that you are supposed to keep an accompanying journal (I might have a slight art journaling addiction) and it gives you challenges to journal every day.
The best part is that I am giving away a package of all 3 – the DVD, book, and devotional, and you can enter on the widget below. If leaving things to chance isn’t your style, you can always just purchase the DVD, book, and devotional.
If you are in any sort of relationship, or think you ever will be, you will find a 3 of these interesting. I think I am going to go through the devotional with my husband, because I am curious to learn his thoughts on some of the topics covered. Plus, what man couldn’t use a refresher in chivalry and romance?
