My daughter is graduating this year. After all the years worrying about extracurriculars and grades, I’m discovering that what I truly worry about is if I prepared her for adulthood spiritually. I recently saw a Facebook post that summed it up perfectly: “It’s my job to make sure you get into heaven, not Harvard.”
Both books are beautifully leather-bound with bookmarks. They are chock-full of wisdom and promises from God’s word. These particular books use the NKJV. There is an inscription page in front where you can dedicate it to your graduate.
In God’s Answers For The Graduate the content is divided by sections like When I Am Worried, or How Can I Live A Life Of Excellence? and there are corresponding Bible verses for each topic. The pages are silver-leafed, and the book is small enough that it would be easy to slip in a purse or a drawer. The cover is a soft leather.
God’s Promises For Graduates is more of a hardbound leather cover, but the pages are also silver leafed and the book is a very portable size. This book is sectioned into similar topics like What To Do When You Need Encouragement, and what Jesus Means To You.
I intend to give copies of these to all the graduates I know this year, with a little money tucked in the front cover. As we send our graduates out into the world, it’s good to know that staying in the word can be easy and relevant.
