I know a lot of people already have their holiday gift list checked off, but for those of us who save Christmas for December, we still have a lot of gifts to buy! Maybe you have a creative person in your life and aren’t sure what to buy them. I have a pretty extensive art and craft supply gift wish list, so let me share it with you.
Sure, it already looks like Hobby Lobby threw up in my house, but a girl really can’t have too many pens, or rolls of washi tape, or inks, or … A creative heart can’t have too many supplies.
So if you have a creative person in your life and you want to give them a gift they will love, here are a few ideas.
1. Give the Gift Of Nice Markers
Whether someone is into planners, or illustration, or card making, I promise you they will love a set of Copic Markers. This post explains why they are better, and worth the investment. You can buy them one at a time, or buy a $2,000 inventory – so they WILL fit any size of budget!
2. An Organized Year is the Best Gift
Creative minds aren’t generally know for their organization skills. I use, and LOVE Erin Condren planners because they are laid out logically, full of bright colors, and inspirational quotes. These planners have a huge cult following of creatives who decorate and journal in them, as well!
3. Everyone Needs A Good Pen
Micron pens make a great gift for ANY creative, because they can be used for everything! From sketching, to hand lettering, to bullet journals, these are a relatively inexpensive gift that will definitely be appreciated.
4. Watercolor Kit
We have all watercolored, whether from a Crayola tray, or a high-end pigment. Everyone should own at least a few watercolors. Winsor & Newton isn’t the highest end brand on the market, but the whimsy behind it makes it my favorite. Plus, the prices are great!
5. Speaking of Watercolors
You might want to throw a set of these in with #4. This has been a serious issue in my house before, so I probably find them more humorous than the average person. These are a must for any watercolor enthusiast you know!
If you have a creative person on your gift list this year, give them something they will love. Who knows, they might thank you with one of their creations!
