This was the scene outside my window this morning:
So I took the opportunity to stay indoors and do some major cleaning and organizing. I threw away an entire garbage bag just out of my desk drawers alone! I also went through our books and DVDs and sorted out a bunch to sell, took pictures, and listed them on Facebook.
Since we have been trying to limit our grocery budget we have been buying pasta in bulk. So when you have 6 lbs of pasta, you tend to get a little creative in how to serve it. This recipe is EASY, cheap, and most importantly, tasty! If I have them on hand I will chop up cherry tomatoes and toss them in as well.
- 16 oz spaghetti noodles
- 2/3 C Feta cheese
- 1/2 C sliced black olives
- 2 T olive oil
- salt to taste
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain the noodles and the return to the pan. Toss noodles with olive oil and salt. Then toss with feta and black olives. Serve warm.
