I know its still technically summer, but I can’t be the only one who is ready for crisp mornings, changing leaves and pulling out the sweaters. My birthday is in October, so fall has always been my favorite season, but it seems to slip by so quickly before the Midwest winters take over. This year I have decided to be a little more intentional about enjoying my favorite time of the year.
I decided to come up with a fall bucket list. Granted I am a list maker by nature, so any excuse to make another one sounds good to me. But something I am learning as I get older is that if I am not intentional about scheduling in fun, it doesn’t happen. So I sat down and came up with some ideas:
- Eat S’mores by the fire pit
- Make apple cider
- Find a fall nail color
- Make a fall wreath
- Have a fall photoshoot
- Buy a pumpkin
- Go for a walk on a crisp day
- Make something in a pumpkin bowl
What would your fall bucket list look like? It can really be anything that helps you to enjoy the season and live in the moment instead of rushing right through. I created a print of my fall bucket list to put on my mantle to remind me to slow down and enjoy the season.
I would encourage you to sit down this week with a pen and paper and write down your own unique fall bucket list. I would love it if you would share it with me! You can snap a picture and post it to my Facebook page.
Happy season of all things pumpkin spice!
