I never succumb to the hype when the new Erin Condren planners release in June every year. I faithfully wait until October, then order my planner for the year. This year I had no intention of ordering on release day, but the more sneak peeks I saw, the more I was tempted.
I caved.
Not only did I order a new planner as soon as I woke up on release day, I added enough accessories to my cart that I am in danger of having to turn in my minimalist badge.
The Down Low
Ok, it really wasn’t that bad, but I do have quite a few new things to share with you.
I tried the EC markers for the first time and I like them! They remind me of Papermate Flairs, but not quite as inky.
I also got stickers galore. I don’t use a ton of stickers in my planner, but I love how pretty and functional all of these are. Of course, I also had to grab a roll of washi/paper tape.
Since I ordered on launch day I got a couple of great freebies. Another hardbound notebook (I’ve already been using and liking one) and an exclusive sheet of stickers.
Now let’s talk about the planner. The paper is noticeably heavier and higher quality. The print quality is WAY better than last year with no visible pixelation and beautiful, saturated colors. I love the dialed-down design that is obviously catering to those who use stickers in their planner.
The stickers in the back of the planner are worth the price of admission! Gone are the plain, muted stickers with obscure events on them you’d never use. There are beautiful gold, silver and rose-gold foiled icons, page flags, and more.
